I’m sure you are wondering what is underwater hockey? It is a non contact sport with a mix of snorkeling, soccer, and hockey. This is a group to have practices and eventually tournaments and events with. It is a coed sport so both women and men are encouraged to try it out! You can play for fun or competition or both no pressure. We will teach you everything and gear is even provided to use. If you want to try something new and unique but also want to get a workout in this is the sport for you!

Beginner Practice Underwater Hockey
Mecklenburg Aquatic Center, 800 E Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Charlotte, NC, USI'm sure you are wondering what is underwater hockey? It is a non contact sport with a mix of snorkeling, soccer, and hockey. Here is a great YouTube explanation. It is a coed sport so both women and men are encouraged to try it out! This is meant to be a friendly beginner practice to help new people learn how to play. We will teach you everything and gear is even provided to use. If you want to try something new and unique but also want to get a workout in this is the sport for you!
- Pool time starts at 8. It Is recommended you get there at 7:30-7:45 to get ready and allow for waivers to be signed if new.
Waivers are required to be signed before playing. - Gear is provided up to 12 sets of fins and masks/snorkels. You can still play if we fill up but you will need to bring fins and a snorkel and mask and we can provide other gear.
