Attention and Welcome to the Charlotte Urbanists!
All Aboard Charlotte is happy to host a Policy Hour with you to discuss our purpose, vision, and goals in the Charlotte area. We'll showcase our ideas for how to best develop and advocate for passenger rail in the area, and offer our insight into the history and infrastructure of rail in Charlotte! One of our current projects is a campaign to make sure all Piedmont trains stop at all stops, rather than the ill-advised current schedule of skipping certain stops to save a few minutes of travel time. Another one of our projects is to formalize a proposal of running commuter trains on the CSX rail line between Monroe, Matthews and Charlotte very similar to the projected Red Line to Huntersville and Davidson.
