June Jane's Walk - Charlotte's Haunted Future

With author and theologian Greg Jarrell, participants will explore uptown Charlotte searching for stories of "exclusions and invisibliities" --ghost stories. Over the course of two hours, we'll look for the untold stories built into our cityscape that continue to determine our future. And, we'll consider the kind of movement we might build to create a different future in a city of justice and belonging. We will cover about 2 miles over 2 hours, with plenty of stops along the way.

Starting point: Trade and Tryon ("The Square").

Ending Point: 3rd and Davidson. For those driving, we recommend parking in this vicinity. Of course, Uptown has multiple transit options!

Participants who are walking should plan to remain on their feet for the entire time - there aren't good sites for sitting along the way.

Plan to arrive by 9:50 am, the tour will begin promptly at 10 o'clock and last approximately 90 minutes.
