Beau Mills is the chair of the group North Carolinians for Passenger Rail, an advocacy group in the State General Assembly. He has worked in and near North Carolina public policy and politics for many years, most recently as the director for the Metro Mayors Coalition and has come to talk about the process of legislative advocacy and how to turn grass roots support into political and policy outcomes.
