Sugar Mountain Day Trip

Ski or ride with us for the day at Sugar Mountain! This North Carolina resort near Banner Elk offers 20 trails with plenty of options from beginner greens to a double black with a 48-degree pitch. Let's shred some hills and cheer for our racers during the Crescent Ski Council Race!

Location: Sugar Mountain Resort - 1009 Sugar Mountain Drive, Sugar Mountain, NC 28604

Meet us at the 3rd floor cafeteria at the Mountain Base Lodge at 8:30 AM.

Carpooling: The resort is located 130 miles from Charlotte and travel time is approximately 2 1/2 hours. You are welcome to coordinate carpools on your own. Attend our Club Meeting on February 15th or comment in the chat below to arrange rides. We encourage riders to bring $20 to cover gas for drivers.

Lift Tickets: Regular price lift tickets are $84 and group rate lift tickets are $66. We get a group discount if at least 15 people join us, so please bring cash and wait to purchase your lift ticket. We'll collect fees when we meet in the cafeteria and purchase tickets as one transaction from group sales.
