Newport News Camping & Area Day Hikes

Newport New Park Campground is a great Winter Camping spot with heated bathrooms, showers, and electric service at Campsites. Or rent a local B&B, Motel and join us for our hikes and adventures. OK to just come for part of the time. For information or to make campsite reservations call 757-888-3333 or just pick a site on arrival with 2 tents or 1 RV and 1 tent per site. (Lots of Availability in Winter and we will stay in Section B)
Daily Day Hikes and or Excursions with current idea being Newport News Park on 13th, Grandview Beach on 14th, York River State Park on 15th, and maybe Fort Monroe on 16th. Mariners’ Museum-Noland Trail is also a possibility.
