Turk Gap AT Waterbar Refurbishing

This is a great opportunity to pay it forward by maintaining the AT. Water diversion structures (Water Bars) need to be refurbished annually and what better time to get outside. Come have fun playing in the dirt and help preserve the trail tread. We will meet at Turk Gap parking lot, just before mile marker 94, Shenandoah National Park, at 9:00am. If you do not have a park pass, contact me to get into the park. We will have an informative and entertaining discussion covering the importance of water bars. There are only 6 openings so a nice intimate group. Bring attire appropriate for trail work, Water, and work gloves, and a Snack. No worries, No Hurries.
