Hightop Mountain Appalachian Trail Work Hike

Spring Plant Growth and AT Through Hiker visits are in full force. Our efforts will be on the AT section on Hightop Mountain, and we will be meeting at the Hightop Parking Area a little south of the Swift Run Gap Entrance Station. This work trip is open to all levels of experience but can also be strenuous. We will be cleaning Water Bars and cutting back vegetation which could involve digging, pruning and grass cutting.
Bring appropriate clothing, work gloves, Water, and snack. Tools will be provided. Carpooling opportunity will be available from Charlottesville.
