Hightop Mountain Appalachian Trail Work Hike

Come join us for a spring work trip to clean water bars and address other maintenance needs on the historic Appalachian Trail section that crosses Hightop Mountain. ( located a little south of Swift Run Gap Entrance Station.) This work trip is open to all levels of experience, can be strenuous, and may include pruning, hand sawing, digging, and moving tree branches and rocks. Bring appropriate clothing, work gloves, water, lunch-snack, and maybe a folding chair with a BIG smile. Tools will be provided. And there will be an after-work rehydration for those interested.
