Trail Maintenance on the Appalachian Trail from Riprap Trail Parking Lot

We will be helping trail maintainers Lisa Swales and Linda Beights refurbish and clear waterbars, as well as cut back vegetation on their section of the Appalachian Trail from Riprap Trailhead parking lot in Shenandoah National Park. Wear work clothes, work gloves, protective eyewear, and bring a daypack, water, snacks, and rain gear. If you have loppers bring them, but we will also have tools, hard hats, and extra gloves/protective eyewear. No experience necessary. Remember to bring your National Park Pass or contact leader if you do not have one. Car pool if you can!
