SMTC Work Trip on North Mountain Trail

We’d love your help on the Elliot Knob section of the North Mountain Trail between Rt 688 & Elliot Knob Access Road. We’ll be cutting back overgrowth of briars, nettles, and laurel.

We’ll meet at Churchville’s Riverside Plaza at 8 am and split into two teams. One will start at Rt 688 (Old Parkersburg Turnpike) and work their way up the trail for about 2.5 miles. The second team will drive up the Elliot Knob Forest Road (off of Hwy 42) to the trail and work their way down the trail for about 2.5 miles.

We will provide extra tools and PPE. Feel free to bring your own.
