PATC has asked someone to represent the club at Widewater State Park's Spring Jubilee. Angela Lawrence and I have agreed to do it and we want to make a weekend of camping and hiking as part of the fun. Come with us even if you don't want to be a Trail Talker.

The event is on Saturday, March 21 from 10am-2:00pm. We plan to have a PATC table with information about the club. We are going to create an activity based around 10 Essentials ("Pack your Pack"), and we will lead some shorter hikes (Angela is creating a scavenger hunt).

Other plans for the weekend:
**We will make Prince William Forest Park our base and camp there. Several trails that we can explore. Each person will be responsible for booking their own site (or decide if you are sharing with a friend). You are welcome to stay elsewhere as well. I will reserve my site in section B and there seems to be some good sites near there. The campground has heated bathrooms with flush toilets and showers.

1. Friday: I plan to hike in Prince William Forest Park and then set up camp

2. Saturday: attend the event at Widewater. We could divide up the tasks of the event. We can hike at Widewater (only a few trails though.) If you don't want to help, you are on your own for exploring.

3. Sunday hike more trails in Prince William Forest Park or we could visit Leesylvania State Park or Mason Neck State Park. If you have other ideas of places to explore, feel free to share.
