AT-Rockfish Gap to Humpback Rocks Visitor Center

THIRD TIME THE CHARM! Hoping the Parkway will finally be Open. This will be a moderate to strenuous 8.5-to-9-mile shuttle hike with 2 stream crossings and 1650 ft of elevation gain. (The first of two hikes to complete the Old Dominion club section of the Appalachian Trail.) Hike will be followed by an optional after hike rehydration at Blue Mountain Brewery. (And its Steel the Glass Day).
Dress for the weather! Hiking Polls are highly recommended and don’t forget water, snack and/or light lunch. Possible wet water crossing at Mill Creek. Will send out email update to registered participants a few days ahead of the hike and sorry no dogs for this hike.
