AT-Rockfish Gap to Mayo Cabin-or Beyond

We will be doing a Modified Hike on Thursday! (!. It will be an IN and Out Hike on the AT going South from Rockfish Gap to Mayo Cabin (maybe a little more) before returning to our Cars. Hike followed by an optional after hike rehydration at Blue Mountain Brewery. (And its Steel the Glass Day).
Weather Forecast Thursday is Sunny with High of 33 after nighttime low of 17. (There is some possibility of very light snow tonight and will adjust plan if need)
Dress for the weather! Hiking Polls are highly recommended and don’t forget water, maybe hot drink, snack and/or light lunch**. Given the snowy- (maybe some icy) trail conditions** MICRO SPIKES are required for all participants! And there are a couple of water crossings along the way. Don't anticipate water being an issue but with winter conditions we will adjust as needed !)
Parking is limited so CARPOOL as much as possible. I will post a Carpool from Charlottesville
