Agenda

• Presentation: "Practical Monads" by Michael Baikov. Monads are an important functional programming tool to combine computations into more complex computations. This includes dealing with side effects in otherwise pure languages or error handling. Although Rust lacks direct support for monads we'll look into what makes them interesting and how you can approach to practically implementing them.

• Round the room--something to share?

The purpose of this meeting is to present a technical topic people can talk about and then provide an opportunity for people to share. The meeting is scheduled for an hour, but may end early.
