What we’re about

A gentle, grounding space for introverts, sensitive souls, and anyone seeking mindful community.

This group was created with an intention rooted in sustainability, reverence for the earth, and mindful community-building. By keeping our gatherings small, we reduce the impact of foot traffic on local trails while creating a more intimate and comfortable environment—especially for those who are introverted, socially anxious, or simply prefer quieter spaces.

As someone who often relies on solo practices like meditation and walking to self-regulate, I know how challenging it can feel to join group activities—even when community is exactly what we need to thrive. Co-regulation doesn’t have to look like loud events or forced interaction; it can be subtle, grounding, and spacious. This group explores that quieter form of connection.

What to Expect

Small gatherings of no more than 10 people to preserve intimacy and trail sustainability

A local park or trail with minimal elevation gain

A gentle opening circle to introduce ourselves, set personal and collective intentions, and go over simple guidelines

A 30–45 minute silent walking meditation, moving slowly and intentionally as we notice our thoughts, the natural world, and one another’s presence

A closing invitation to share reflections Socratic-circle style—always optional, always without pressure

Why Silent Walking?

Silent walking meditation gives us the chance to practice presence in real time, without striving, performing, or needing to get it right. We’re here to just be—to walk, breathe, listen, and soften into the moment together.

This community is for anyone seeking:

Quiet companionship

Mindfulness in motion

A nervous-system-friendly approach to connection

Nature-based practices that honor the land

If you’re someone who usually shies away from group settings but still longs for community, this space was intentionally designed with you in mind.

Come as you are. Walk gently. Be held by nature.
