What we’re about
We are the Charming Chicks! The goal of this group is to provide intimate small group outings where friendships can flourish. With 6 event hosts, we do events all over the DMV to include but not limited to: Washing DC, Silver Spring, Baltimore, Northern Virginia, and Annapolis. Our event hosts all have different interests as well which gives you a wide variety of events to choose from. We enjoy everything from hiking, live theatre, arts and crafts, dining out, museums, garden tours and more!! If you are looking to make lasting friendships then you have come to the right place!!
Please note: We are focused on lifting women up not tearing them down. We do NOT promote: drama, cliques, or gossip. We DO promote: Inclusion, acceptance and fun! Please note that we work hard to plan events and we have a no tolerance policy on no shows. A no show is when you RSVP for an event and fail to show up. If this occurs you will be removed from the group. In addition, we require a minimum of 24 hours if you need to cancel your RSVP. Please be mindful when you sign up for events and make sure to add the events to your calendar. We are so excited to explore the DMV with you as we build lasting friendships!

We'll be meeting at the Bocce Courts.I've combined two of my event ideas in one: a friendly bocce ball competition and a book swap!
The Plan:
- Bring a book you've read and are ready to part with.
- We'll form two teams to compete in a game of bocce ball.
- The prize? The winning team gets first pick of the books!
- Haven't played before? No problem! Bocce ball is easy to learn, and I'll teach you the basics when you arrive. If you can throw a ball, you're good to go. No other physical effort is involved besides arguing on whose ball is closer (FYI that's what the tape measurer is for).
- Each game typically lasts 30 minutes to an hour, but we can play multiple rounds if we'd like. If you arrive late, no problem, just join in and jump on a team.
I'll bring a picnic basket for refreshments and snacks, but feel free to bring something as well. I'd recommend finger foods or items that are easy to eat without creating a mess, as the area is more suited for casual picnicking.
