The Perfect Combination: Brunch, Plants/Books/Vintage

First, join us for a delicious brunch in quirky downtown Takoma Park! If you've never explored this adorable little strip of restaurants and shops, it's time. We'll start with brunch at Motorkat (exceptionally good food!) at 10:30. Then, we'll move a few doors down to Laurel Leaf. Laurel Leaf is a collaborative, women-owned shop featuring a collection of plants, used books, and vintage mid-century modern furniture and decor. They have a DIY plant bar on a drop-in basis on Sundays, where you can make your own terrarium using their collection of vessels, plants and fun accents - you can even bring your own such as sea shells (details below- it is drop in but I recommend you make a reservation for noon if you plan to do the plant bar to ensure they are prepared for us).

Walkable from Takoma metro. Street parking available (it's doable but give yourself a few minutes to find a spot).
