We'll discuss the use cases, risks, impact on business and society, as well as where this technology will be heading in the future, including if we will all be turned into batteries 🔋

• Andi Partovi (AI/ML Specialist Lead - Google)

• Andi is an entrepreneur and data scientist with years of experience in technology including natural language processing, image processing and predictive analysis. Andi is especially interested in the use of machine learning in health systems and works with a number of med-tech startups in Australia on data analytics. He's been working with some of Google's largest customers in the region and helping them leverage AI/ML and more recently the fun of Generative AI.

• Travis Mason (Lecturer AI/ML - Swinburne University)

• Travis is a passionate lecturer in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence at Swinburne University. With 3 decades of experience in both academia and industry, Travis is dedicated to exploring the cutting-edge of AI and its potential applications. His research focuses on the use of artificial intelligence applications in the Mental Health sector and he is currently developing papers with the Melbourne University School of Psychology in relation to how LLMs can be used to assist in the education of front line clinicians. Travis has been exploring development and use cases of generative AI since 2016 when “Transformers is all you need.” was published. Commercially Travis is currently the Vice President and General Manager for ANZ at Khoros, delivering customer contact solutions for the digital world we now find ourselves in.

• Ali Pinch (Conversational Designer - WooliesX)

• Ali is a Conversation Designer at Australia's largest retailer, and has helped bring some of Australia's biggest bots to life. Always on the pulse of industry trends, Ali and her team have been looking at how generative AI and LLMs can create simpler, more robust designs and streamlined monitoring processes.
