Burgess falls paddling trip

Hey everybody! Third waterfall is one of the most captivating and jaw dropping one of the MANY I have seen in Tennessee! ( or anywhere) - lol
We hiked to it last year and saw it from the top. From the top we could see all of the paddlers at the bottom physically enjoying it !

April through June every year is maximum water flow and May weather should be gorgeous and perfect to paddle to this stunning waterfall! And believe me when I say that it’s a LOT BIGGER than it looks in the pic!
We will paddle from the Center Hill Lake and Cane Hollow Recreation Area to the falls. This is an easy, flat water two mile paddle. ( 4 miles round trip) with a beautiful water pool at the base of the falls, and a nice gravel bar to hang out on, and enjoy swimming and lunch.
If you don’t have a kayak/canoe/paddle board, there are kayaks available for rent at the park mentioned above, and I would make reservations asap as they book up fast!
We will all meetup at the parking lot above, and carpool as much as possible. It should be about an hour and 45 minutes trip up there.
We can / will plan on a nice delicious and healthy dinner somewhere on the way back ( to be determined).
This is gonna be a rockstar trip ! 😜
