ADD/ADHD Support Naturally Meetup
A parent-led circle for understanding, connection, and natural support
Raising a child with ADD, ADHD, or related neurodevelopmental challenges can be overwhelming, isolating, and deeply personal. This meetup was created from lived experience—not untested theories, not trends, and not quick fixes.
In the mid-1990s, I was the parent of a child diagnosed with ADD, ADHD, and PDD-NOS, along with amplified anger and emotional regulation challenges. Those years were intense, confusing, and often lonely. There were NO real parent groups, only MD's, psychiatrist, drugs, and untested theories. Today, that child is a fully grown, fully functioning adult. That journey shaped everything about how I view support, patience, advocacy, and hope.
As a parent, I have collaborated with hundreds of families over the years, walking alongside them as they navigated labs, allergies, gut-brain connections, synapse irregularities, amino acid therapies, nutrition strategies, and many other natural support approaches. What I learned—again and again—is that families don’t just need information. They need to be heard by others who truly understand. And it helps to have someone with a 360 view of the journey.
This meetup is not a workshop, and not a referral service. It is a circle of parents and supporters who have walked the walk and want to support other families doing the same. We share experiences, ask honest questions, and talk openly about natural support approaches in a respectful, grounded way.
Ages do not matter here. Over the years, the families I’ve shared with have included four-year-olds, teenagers, student-athletes preparing for college, and young adults already in college. Every stage brings its own challenges—and every stage deserves support.
This is a place where you can speak freely, listen deeply, and know you are not alone. Whether you are just beginning this journey or have been on it for years, you are welcome here.
ADD/ADHD Support, Naturally, Meetup exists so parents and families have a space to connect, share, and support one another—naturally, thoughtfully, and without judgment.
