Our Beginner’s Yoga Series is the perfect place to start your practice in a welcoming and supportive environment. We will learn and practice foundational yoga postures, breathing techniques, and meditations.
Join Kat Smith & Laura Teal as they welcome you to your yoga practice!
🌱 This workshop series is for you if:
- You're brand new to yoga
- You've been practicing yoga, but want some guidance on alignment and accountability in developing your practice
- You're a yoga teacher interested in learning how to teach and hold space for beginner yogis

- No Experience Needed! We guide you step-by-step through foundational poses, breathing techniques, and mindfulness.

- Focus on Wellness: Learn how to incorporate mindfulness and relaxation into your routine.
🌱 Schedule:
Sundays from 2-3:30pm
OR
Mondays from 6:15-7:45pm
- Week 1: Warm-up & Standing Postures + Breath Awareness
- Week 2: Sun Salutations A & B + Victorious Breath
- Week 3: Standing Balancing Postures + Alternate Nostril Breath
- Week 4: Seated Forward Bends + Twists & Cool-down Postures + Three Part Yogic Breath
🌱 How to prepare:
- Wear comfortable clothing you can move in
- Bring a mat, if you have one; mat rentals are included in this series
- If note-taking is helpful for your learning process, bring a notebook!
- Eat 2-3 hours before class so that you don't have a full stomach when you arrive
- Come with questions, a curious mind, and an open heart
