Last discussion carried notes of an idea: that a lot of us live based on what we think we know about the world outside of us, made evident by our ability to use logic to form paths of causality between things in our experience (this feeling leads to that feeling, this action leads to that action, etc.) The result is a story of how the world works and how we use that to bring about the things we want. I'm interested in what might be going on behind the curtains of this story, the process of motivation that prompts us to seek the sense of "knowledge" required for a consistent way of being. I think understanding this can lead to some really useful personal insights into those times when we feel a gap between what we want, what we feel, what we think and what to do about it. I'll bring three core philosophies of knowledge to the table as templates for exploration: rationalism, intuitionism, and empiricism. And of course I'll bring my occultism with me as well. Feel free to explore them on your own beforehand but no need to!

Looking forward to discussing :).
