Topgolf: Golf, games, & lunch

Would that we could have a group aviation-something meet-up event, but until I get ideas, it's Topgolf instead. No agenda, just come & hang out, have a bite to eat, and learn to swing a golf club or outcompete us amateurs in friendly competition. Per their website, mid-mornings are a good time, less busy than crowded afternoons.

No experience necessary. If we have fun, maybe we'll make this a once-every-couple-months things so we can get a competition going over time for most improved, group VIP, etc.

THE VENUE
"Enjoy year-round comfort in our hitting bays with cooling fans in the summer and heated bays in the winter, all with HDTVs in every bay and throughout our sports bar and restaurant. Using our complimentary clubs or your own, take aim at the giant outfield targets and our high-tech balls will score themselves."

TIME
* Time is tentative, pending confirmation of group interest/size as golf bay RSVPs are available online up to 14 days in advance. It may shift 1-2 weekends thereafter depending on these variables to accommodate a larger outing & reservation.

PRICE
* It is 30/hr x 2hrs = $60. For a group of 12, that's $5 per person.
* Plus, a one-time $6 fee for new players = $11 per person**.

GROUP
* Up to 6 players can be in a bay and play. Group of 12 = 2 bays.
* If we have a large (13+ people) show of interest, this will be opened up to a third 6 person crew.

EQUIPMENT
* "Use our complimentary clubs or bring your own." Topgolf offers complimentary club storage for personal clubs, and storage if there's a wait before your RSVP time.

GUESTS: Due to the 6-person limit per golf bay, please post in comments if you will be bringing a guest so that the reservation can be planned accordingly.
