Two words: Ice cream.
The first, Ice on the Landing.
After, ice cream and boring food optional, by which I mean we either make a lunch of it from the on site food trucks or, if there’s enough interest, we regroup at Clumpies Ice Cream Shop a 4min drive to the east.

  • Ice skating @ 12:30 for $14 per person. If we get 20 people RSVP’d, it drops to $12 per person. Skates are included but you can bring your own. +$5 skate walkers are optional.
  • What to Expect : I haven’t been before so I cant honestly tell you what to expect but we aim to have good, chill (pun intended) fun.
  • Skill : I don’t claim to be a capable ice skater, hockey aspirations aside, so don’t let any fear of skill or lack thereof hold you back either from joining or showing off.
  • Non-Skaters are welcome to come just watch & hangout. If there are enough of you, you can even split off and hang @ Southside Social nearby. If we get enough interest, I’ll set up an RSVP there.
  • When: Ice on the Landing says to arrive 30 min early. Tickets grant you a dedicated 1hr skate time - 2:00-3:00 is our skate window - so if you’re late, you can’t make-up missed time. Hence I’ll be arriving by 1:30 pm.
  • Tickets: I will make an announcement by the Wednesday before (1/15) whether it looks like we’ll hit the 20 person group skate rate. If not, I’ll let you to know to go ahead and buy your solo ticket online at that time (https://www.iceonthelanding.com/booking).
  • Parking : “ Pay Here lot located right next to to Ice on the Landing at 1801 Reggie White Blvd starting at $3 / hour“.
  • More FAQs: https://www.iceonthelanding.com/faq
  • Guests: Are allowed as long as they cover their ticket and are able to reserve one for the same time slot naturally. Indicate that in your RSVP as I don’t know how fast time Slots sell out.
