Introduction to Lightburn and how to use the laser cutter

In this workshop you will learn the basics of Lightburn and how to use our GWeike 130 watt laser cutter. Lightburn is an incredible piece of software that provides superior abilities using our largest cutter. We will cover the following areas:

• Importing SVG files and preparation
• Setting up layers and developing a cut plan.
• Demonstrate tuning the cutter for new materials.
• Sets you up on our NAS so you can store your files locally.
• Optionally, (additional $40) we can get you your own lightburn license for use with our laser, this is limited to members. This is a discounted price for the license, we don't get anything out of this.
• Demonstration of how it interacts with the cutter.
• Proper use of the 130 watt laser cutter.
• Certifies you to use our laser cutter.
