Beginners Welcome
Art 120's welding classes at ChattLab are open to beginners and those wanting to refresh some old skills. We teach MIG welding in a fun and safe environment. After class, look for our newsletter to stay on top of our community activities and welding opportunities throughout the year.
Welding Classes start March 11th and will occur on Wednesdays for four weeks. Each class lasts one hour. The cost with lab fee is only $35 per class ($140 total). The $20 lab fee is waived for ChattLab Members.
1st Wednesday, March 11th- Shop Safety and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
2nd Wednesday, March 18th - Introduction to Grinding and Shop Tools
3rd Wednesday, March 25th - Introduction to Welding I
4th Wednesday, Arpli 1st - Introduction to Welding II
Cost includes: materials, equipment use, lab fee, and supplies needed for the class.

All Applicants MUST:
Be at least eighteen years old.
Enroll by Sunday, March 8th
Complete all four classes to pass.
Be prepared to get messy. Wear old long sleeve cotton shirts, close-toed shoes, and jeans will be necessary for shop work.
Registration Policy: Art 120 reserves the right to combine or adjust class dates if the registration threshold is not met. We take 4 students per class on a first come/first serve basis and will add 7:30-8:30pm class if needed.
Covid Safe Poiicy - Art 120 takes the Coronavirus pandemic seriously. Given the state of the pandemic at the time of class, it may be necessary to wear a mask whether you are vaccinated or not. When cases are extremely high, Art 120 reserves the right to postpone classes until a safer time.
