Curious about the sewing machines at ChattLab? Come give them a try!
Sewing Office Hours are a low-stakes opportunity to sit down at a sewing machine, experiment, ask questions, and get a little guidance from someone who knows their way around the machine.

No sewing experience required.

You don't need to have a project in mind, either. Maybe you've always wanted to learn how a sewing machine works. Maybe you have a project that's been sitting in a closet because you're not quite sure how to tackle it. Or maybe you just want to see what the machine can do.
I'll be available throughout the two-hour session to demonstrate basic techniques, help you get comfortable with the machine, troubleshoot, or answer questions. This isn't a formal class, so there won't be a curriculum or a finished project you have to complete.

Come for five minutes or stay for two hours.

I'll bring some scrap fabric and a few ideas to experiment with, but you're welcome to bring your own project or fabric if you have something you'd like to try.
