Turn a used coffee bag into a sturdy, useful tote while learning the basics of sewing construction.

In this beginner-friendly workshop, we'll transform reclaimed jute coffee bags into lined, flat-bottomed tote bags. You'll learn basic machine-sewing techniques including measuring and cutting, seam allowances, sewing straight seams, creating boxed corners, attaching handles, and finishing a lined bag.
No previous sewing experience is required. We'll work step-by-step, and you'll leave with a finished tote and a handful of sewing techniques you can use on future projects.
