Social Chess - Barnes

Check Mates is a free, relaxed space to meet people over a game of chess and a drink. All levels welcome - we are social first.

A free and relaxed meetup for people who want to come together, have a drink and play some chess.

Starting on June 15th, we'll meet every Monday evening at the Coach & Horses pub in Barnes from 7pm - 10pm.

Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned player, you're welcome here. We're social first - come for the chess, stay for the good company.
