About us
This group is for anyone interested in the unusual and intense combination of chess and boxing. We meet up to train both sides of the sport, alternating rounds at the board with rounds in the ring. Whether you are a seasoned chess player looking to get fit or a boxer who enjoys a tactical challenge, you will find a welcoming environment here to sharpen your skills.
You do not need to be a grandmaster or a professional fighter to join us. We focus on building stamina and keeping a clear head under physical pressure. Most sessions involve some light sparring followed by timed chess matches, and we are always happy to help newcomers get comfortable with the format. Come by if you want to try something different and push your mental and physical limits in good company.
