Welcome to the new "Cheeky Singles of the DMV"! This group is perfect for single and lonely individuals looking to meet new people and have a great time. Our events cater to singles 35 and up, both men and women, who are interested in building new relationships and connections. Whether you're looking for companionship, friendship, or even love, our group provides a fun and inclusive environment for you to connect with like-minded individuals. Join us for exciting meetups, group outings, and social gatherings where you can let your hair down and enjoy the company of other "cheeky singles" in the DMV area.
We Are:
Cheeky - Impudent, or irreverent, typically in an endearing or amusing way
Single - Not in a committed relationship
DMV - From DC, Maryland and Virginia
Let it be clearly stated...you will be removed if you disrespect ANYONE, or if you have more than 3 No-Shows, or do not fit into our kind and welcoming group.

Trivia Night @ Clyde's Mark Center (Alexandria)
Clyde’s at Mark Center, 1700 N. Beauregard St, Alexandria, VA, USThis kind of weather reminds me of drinking, cozy food and Clyde's wood paneling, and...Trivia Night! If I am to be honest, I am not a trivia gal, so I need to be on a strong team. Teams are in groups of 7, unless we want to forfeit the prize. So sign up and we will figure out the groups.
Trivia will be played in the Atrium and Wharf Bar. I will be arriving at around 5:30 pm to grab a table or so and food/drink. Arrive early if you plan on dining there.
Rules of play:
1. Please do not call out any answers (even if you are just trying to be funny).
2. No collaborating with other teams.
3. Once an answer slip is turned in, teams may NOT change their answer or their wager, unless instructed to do so by the host.
4. The host will have final say in all circumstances during play.
5. In order to earn nightly prizes, teams may not have more than seven players. Your team may play the game with more than seven players, but it will be ineligible for nightly prizes given away by the venue. For the purposes of this rule, anyone situated at your table or team area is considered to be a part of your team, regardless of their actual input.
6. No use of outside reference materials or notes crafted in advance.
7. No use of cell phones or any technology is allowed used during the game at any time. This includes the time between questions even if your team has handed in its answer. If you MUST use a phone for an emergency, please walk away from your team to use it before returning to your team after it submits the answer for the current question. Teams that choose to use cell phones during play but will be ineligible for nightly prizes and will only receive ten standings points, regardless of their final placement.

Chili Cook-Off FUNDRAISER! (Burke)
Location not specified yetYou are invited to a chili cook-off to benefit FEEDING AMERICA! When we did this in 2023, we were able to raise $452.25 and it was so much fun. Sadly, there are many more people who are facing hunger now, so our donations are even more important. Let's open our hearts, and our wallets to help those who are in need.
Here is how it works:
- We will need six people to enter the contest with their very best large crock-pot of chili. Any type of chili you want to bring is fine. Be creative! You will not need to pay the entrance fee if you donate.
2. There is a $20 per person entrance fee, payable in advance to Susan through Zelle (240 446-8744 ), or Venmo (@Susan-Timm-11).
This fee will include a tasting of all the chili, voting on your favorite chili, and having a bowl of your favorite chili with cornbread and a drink.
3. You will vote for your favorite chili by donating a $1 in a cup located in front of your favorite chili, voting as many times as you wish for each $1. So bring lots of $1 dollar bills!
4. We will auction off all the remaining chili by the end of the day.
PLEASE BRING CASH FOR THIS FUNDRAISER!
If you would like to donate chili, be the first six people to leave a message below telling me that you want to donate.
Our fundraiser will be held at our dear friend Debbie's home in Burke. Her address will be privately sent out a few days prior to the event.
Contact me if there are any questions.
