CHEER Garden Project 2026

This community project will be the first of our Community Garden Series. Join us and learn how to assemble planting boxes while practicing your gardening skills. You will earn CHEER volunteer hours. This project also strengthens teamwork with members of CHEER and our community. Gloves and materials will be provided.

Task:
We will put together some garden planters, fill them with soil/compost, and get the garden ready for the community.

Tools:
Please bring your own glove and shovels.
Pizza and drink will be provided.

Photography/Video Release:
All photos and videos taken during this event may used in different social media to promote CHEER, by participating, you and your guest agrees your photo and video will be used by CHEER with non commercial purpose.

I grant permission for CHEER to take photographs or videos of my child during activities for promotional purposes with non commercial purpose. If I do not wish for my child’s image to be used, I will provide written notice.

Waiver and Release:
I, the undersigned parent or guardian, hereby acknowledge and agree to the following:
Assumption of Risk: I understand that participation in sports activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, or even death. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my child's participation.
Release of Liability: I, on behalf of myself and my child, hereby release, waive, and discharge CHEER, its coaches and volunteers from any and all claims, liabilities, or damages arising from my child's participation in the above-mentioned activities.
Medical Treatment: In the event of an injury or medical emergency, I authorize CHEER volunteers to administer first aid and seek medical treatment if necessary. I agree to be responsible for any medical costs incurred.

Governing Law: This waiver shall be governed by the laws of the state of California.
Please ensure that you are in good health before participating and understand that there is risk involved in your participation.
