About us
This group will provide a space for the queer people of Alexandria and surrounding locales to participate in activities to form friendships and build community.
We will seek to contribute to the larger community with attendance or participation in city and town events and volunteer opportunities as well as events to foster our found families e.g. potlucks, game days, festival attendance, and group hangouts.
TL;DR I'm trying to make friends and form a community away from this capitalistic hell scape! Please consider joining our cult I mean group!

No (non-drag) Kings Protest Sign Making
Belle Pre Apartments, 1111 Belle Pre Way, Alexandria, VA, USCitizens!
No Kings III is scheduled for March 28th, 2026 (https://www.nokings.org/). Let's meet ahead of time to create our protest signs and chat about backsliding democracies! It will also be a good opportunity to make a plan to attend a protest with a buddy!
I'll have some poster board and writing utensils but others are encouraged to bring art supplies for the more ambitious signs.
I will have some snackables. People are welcome to bring bevvies or shareables. Please ensure that all non vegan leftovers go home with the owner or adopter as I am a brittle vegan.
