It is ๐ŸŒธ time! Join us as we explore the lovely Japanese Gardens for a few hours this Saturday morning. And if you are interested in brunch afterwards, thought we could check out Monsoonโ€™s Dim Sum brunch.

  • LOCATION: Within Washington Park Arboretum @ 1075 Lake Washington Blvd E. Seattle, Washington 98112.
  • Date: Saturday, March 29th
  • Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM (meet @ 9:45am at the main entrance)
  • Tickets: $10 (Adults 18-64) available at the Ticket booth
  • Senior Adults(65+), Students(with valid ID), Adaptive, Military: $6

๐ŸŒฑTHE GARDEN
The Seattle Japanese Garden at Washington Park Arboretum is one of the most celebrated Japanese gardens outside of Japan. It features a formal stroll-through garden at the north end and an informal, naturalistic woodland at the south end. These are connected by a semi-formal area in the center featuring a lake, wooden zigzag bridge, and stone peninsula.

๐Ÿณ BRUNCH -Monsoon Dim Sum

PARKING - FREE but limited

  • Arboretum Drive East: Access to the Graham Visitors Center and the Japanese Garden parking lots can be found by turning right onto Arboretum Drive East.
  • Graham Visitors Center: A large parking lot is located near the Graham Visitors Center, offering a good starting point for exploring the Arboretum.
  • Japanese Garden Parking Lot: There is a parking lot specifically for the Seattle Japanese Garden, which is also free but can get busy, especially on weekends.

Public Transportation
The garden is accessible by Metro Bus route #11, which stops on nearby Madison Street. Please use Metro Trip Planner to determine the best route. The nearest Sound Transit light rail station is located at the University of Washington, a 25-minute walk away.
