5th Annual Red & White Holiday Bash (and Food Drive)

Hey Winos!

It’s that time again….the countdown is on for our 5th Annual Red & White Holiday Bash....this year with a twist! Typically this is a semi-formal event where we put onhttp://photos1.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/c/2/2/f/event_6289711.jpeg our most winolicious red and white threads. Here's the twist...for those of you who don't want to get gussied up, have fun with the holiday theme and embrace the festivities by wearing casual or costume red and white (green, gold and silver are ok too!) and/or some holiday paraphernalia. A Santa's hat, reindeer nose and antlers, lights, bells, whatever! The only rule is to have fun with it and enjoy a night of spreading the wino holiday cheer with wine, food, dancing and lots of lucky raffle winners.

To keep costs down, we've rented out a private clubhouse....no parking fees and no extra costs or waiting in long lines for drinks or food. This will be a BYO party so please bring a bottle of wine or bubbles you'd like to share. We'll have ice buckets for white wines and bubbles but please bring them pre-chilled. There will also be a nice spread of food and desserts provided, as well as bottled waters. DJ Wyatt and his sidekick MC will be starting at 7pm to get those booties shakin'!

RAFFLE: Each person will receive one raffle ticket upon entry and additional tickets can be purchased for $1 each or 15 tickets for $10 at the door. A partial list of some of the prizes up for grabs includes:

The address will be sent out to everyone on the RSVP list a few days prior to the event. Payment is required at the time of RSVPing so that we can get an accurate headcount. The first 20 winos (and their guests) to RSVP will also receive a 20 oz. Winos R Us etched wine glass at the door.

PAYMENTS: The event fee covers space rental, DJ costs, food, party supplies and decorations, raffle prizes, clean up and all other costs associated with making this party happen. A staggered payment structure has been set up to benefit the early-bird winos who allow us to adequately prepare for the party:

FOOD DRIVE INFORMATION: Mama’s Kitchen (http://www.mamaskitchen.org/) is San Diego’s oldest and largest meal delivery service for people with cancer or HIV/AIDS. If you would like to donate food items, we will have food bins located inside the clubhouse as you enter. Due to the compromised immune systems of their clients, all items should be sealed and not past their expiration date. Any nonperishable food items will be accepted, but here is the specific Mama's Kitchen 'wish list':
