A warm welcome to Chelmsford Friendship Group.

We are a friendly bunch of people and our aim is to put on local events of interest to our members.

Please read the “About us” info on the group’s main page for more details on the group and the expected behaviour from our members to keep everyone safe, happy and coming back for more.

In particular, if you sign up for an event then find you cannot make it PLEASE change your RSVP to 'Not Going'. This saves the hosts waiting around for you and/or allows someone on the Waitlist to take your space, particularly when numbers are limited.

We do ask all new members to pay a small, one off, subscription fee of £6.00 to cover admin costs to run the group. Payments to be made by bank transfer please, not by PayPal as a fee will be taken before we receive it.

New members can attend one event free to make sure you like us before you need to pay your subscription fee. If you would like one of the hosts to look out for you at an event or to meet outside, we are of course happy to do this. Just make sure your profile picture is a good likeness so we can find you!

We do sometimes ask for deposits or payment up front for events where payment is required to book spaces. Please ensure your payment is made promptly to avoid the host needing to chase for payment.
