Bookshop Crawl

Details

Join us for a bookshop crawl in Tewkesbury! Tewkesbury is a medieval market town 15 mins from Cheltenham with great charity shopping, well worth a visit; we'll hold our bookshop crawl the weekend before the Tewkesbury Medieval Festival to try and borrow from the festival vibes.

We'll start our day at the Bookworm Bookshop, a cosy little charity shop on the High Street, after which we'll stop by Alison's, a beautiful independent bookstore. Most exciting however is Cornell Books, a secondhand bookshop located in an old Tudor building with huge rooms and many floors we could easily get lost in! But eventually we'll pop over to a local cafe, probably Coffee #1 for a quick drink and a chat, and other charity shops along the way. But looking forward to seeing you!

Travel information for Tewkesbury:
The 41 bus travels frequently between Clarence Street in Cheltenham and Sun Street in Tewkesbury, running every 10-15 mins; go on the Stagecoach bus website for details.
There are plenty of car parks in Tewkesbury; the ones in the very centre of town might be busiest on a Saturday, the ones on the edge of town are only about a 10-15 min walk from the Bookworm Bookshop. I don't imagine you'll be unable to find a space, but it might be best to give yourself some extra travel time in anticipation of looking for a spot.
