Let's visit Dandeli
𝐓𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐈𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 :
𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟏 -
3:00 pm - Start to Hubli by train from Chennai

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐 -
6:30 AM - Reach Hubli... Get into an hired vehicle
8:00 AM - Halt for breakfast and fresh up
9:00 AM – Get into private vehicle and leave for Dandeli
11:30 PM – Reach Dandeli and check into Resort
12:15 PM – Visit Moulangi eco-park, Syntheri rocks and other sight seeing places
5:00 PM – VIsit the bridge at Supa dam for few good pics.
Note: We cant go to the dam
7:00 PM – back to Homestay
7:00 PM – 9:00 PM – Rest and chit chat… games… etc
9:00 PM – 10:00 PM – Dinner
10:00 PM – Campfire and Stories
11:00 PM – Sleep
(Sunday)
4:30 AM – Wake up call
6:30 AM – Go for a Nature walk and small trek.
8:00 AM – Once we are done with the trek we shall go to elephant camp and click a few photos
9:30 AM – Back to the homestay and have breakfast
10:30 AM – Start to water sports – river rafting, kayaking, Jacuzzi, swimming etc
2:30 PM – Reach homestay and have lunch
4:00 PM - Start to Hubli
8:00 PM Catch train to Bangalore
𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟒:
6:00 am - Reach Bangalore and Board Chennai Train
12:00 pm - Reach Chennai
Cost - 6400/-
𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 :

1. Travel from Chennai to Hubli by sleeper class train
2. Travel from Hubli to Bangalore ( Sleeper class train )
3. Travel from Bangalore to Chennai ( (2S) Seater)
4. Private Hired Vehicle from Hubli for Two days

3 Meals ( 1 lunch, 1 dinner, and 1 breakfast)
Important notes on rafting:
– The status of White Water Rafting – whether it will happen or not – will only be announced by Forest/Dam authorities on Sunday morning.
– No one can promise it beforehand 100%
Sight Seeing – Only based on time availability

1. Backwaters
2. Supa dam ( only onto the bridge as Dam visit needs special permissions)
3. crocodile park

Rafting - INR 600 and other activities based on your interest are paid by you guys

1. A Rucksack/haversack,
2. Shoe/ Sandals
3. Extra Pair Of Clothes(Pref. Dri-fit)
4. Torch / Flashlight /headlight
5. 1 track pants/ loose trousers – full length & a T-Shirt and other Toiletries needed.
6. Mosquito repellent.
7. Toiletries required
8. Photo Id (any valid card with your photograph and signature on it)

𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:

1. No smoking and no alcohol
2. No littering, no pollution of water
3. This is not a luxury trip, but all care has been taken to make your trip comfortable
4. We carry Basic First Aid and if you need anything you can ask the organizers
5. If you feel unwell bring it to the notice of the organizers immediately.
6. If you can’t swim don’t go deep into the water

Kodagu is an administrative district in Karnataka, India. Before 1956 it was an administratively separate Coorg State,at which point it was merged into an enlarged Mysore State. It occupies an area of 4,102 square kilometres (1,584 sq mi) in the Western Ghats of southwestern Karnataka. In 2001 its population was 548,561, 13.74% of which resided in the district's urban centres, making it the least populous of the 30 districts in Karnataka.
Kodagu is known for its coffee and its people. The dominant group are the indigenous and other ethnic groups (Arabashe Gowdas and Kodava subgroups). The chief languages presently spoken in Kodagu are Kodava, Are Bhashe, Kannada, Tulu, Konkani, Urdu and English. Kodagu is home to the native speakers of the Kodava language.

Tentative Itinerary:

Day 1:
9:00 PM - Start from Chennai central to Mysore by train

Day 2:
9:30am- Start to Nagarhole wildlife Sanctuary and reach Irupu waterfalls
10:00am- Breakfast on the way
1:30pm- Reach Irupu falls Via Nagarhole Sanctuary And Spend Sometime
6:00pm- Reach Homestay
9:00pm-dinner and go to Sleep
(Campfire Depends On Weather Condition)

Day 3:
2:00 am- start to Mandappatti base point
5.00 Am : Reach base and start to peak in jeeps
6:00 am - Reach the First View Point .. Enjoy the Sunrise
7.30 am - Get back and start to Dubbare Elephant Camp
12:00 PM - Finish Visiting Elephant Camp And Start to Mysore
3:15 PM- Board the Train at Mysore

Day 4:
7:00 AM - Reach Chennai
Bye byee.. tc.. with lot of memories and new friends!
