Queues for Kafka Deep Dive

Abstract:
Kafka is built for streaming, but what happens when you just want a traditional work queue? Queues for Kafka (KIP-932) introduces Share Groups, enabling true cooperative, multi-consumer processing from a single partition with per-message acknowledgments. Join us for a hands-on deep dive into KIP-932! We'll compare ShareConsumer against standard consumer groups, run a live demo on setting up Share Groups, and discuss recent additions like Dead Letter Queue (DLQ) support alongside future roadmap items like Exactly-Once Semantics.
