Summary
DSPy: Building AI applications with programming, not prompting [1]
Speaker: Abinav
AI applications built on top of LLM requires extensive prompting or writing strings as instructions, With DSPy we can reduce the amount of instructions we need to give the LLM and allow the framework to find the best instruction while also evaluating the outputs. In this talk I will explain how we can better use DSPy to write AI applications without too much prompting.
Democratizing High-Performance Computing with Python: Why It Matters and an Introduction to Guro [2]
Speaker: Dhanush
Python’s simplicity makes it a top choice for High-Performance Computing (HPC), essential for scaling workflows and optimizing performance. This talk explores Python’s role in HPC, the importance of bench marking and monitoring, and introduces Guro, an open-source toolkit for CPU and GPU performance monitoring and bench-marking. Attendees will gain actionable insights to enhance Python-based workloads with real-world examples and practical tips.
Desktop App development using PySide 6
Speaker: Praveen
This talk is an overview on how to develop cross-platform desktop apps using PySide 6 (QT framework for Python). Along with this, a simple photo viewer and use-cases on GUI interfacing with electronic projects are explained which helps the audience to build their own desktop apps.
