Summary
Practical PII Redaction in Python
Speaker: Sowmya
For Large Language Model (LLM) enthusiasts, data quality and privacy are crucial when training models on text datasets. Unintentional exposure of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) can lead to compliance risks, biases, and ethical concerns. This is where Data Prep Kit (DPK) comes into play, offering a structured approach to cleaning and preparing datasets before they are fed into LLM
From Source to Runtime
Speaker: Vinod kumar
How Python executes your code? What happens behind the scenes from the moment you write a script to when it runs? This talk takes a deep dive into the Python interpreter, exploring the journey of Python code from source to execution. We will break down how Python converts code into tokens, builds a Concrete Syntax Tree (CST) and an Abstract Syntax Tree (AST), and then compiles it into bytecode. You'll learn about the role of the Python Virtual Machine (PVM) in executing bytecode, how the operating system loads and runs Python processes, and how memory management, including heap allocation and garbage collection.
Introduction to Airflow
Speaker: Vignesh
Apache Airflow, or Airflow, is an open-source tool and framework for running your data pipelines in production.
As an industry-leading data workflow management tool, Apache Airflow leverages Python to allow data practitioners to define their data pipelines as code.
Airflow adds the ability to schedule pipeline execution and observe performance, making it a centralized hub for all of your data workflows. Whether you’re preparing training data for a model, or persisting data in a data lake, Airflow adds the functionality to make your data pipelines production-ready.

Talk at Chennaipy
We have three 20 mins talk slots. The talks are filled by first come first serve basis. Lightning talks will be at the end of the meetup. As long as we have time, there is no limit for number of lightning talks.
If you are interested in doing a talk (20 min) or lightning talk (5 mins), please add a comment to this event page with your topic and Description
Note:
We understand that your schedule might change and you are unable to attend the meetup, in that case consider UNRSVP. So that folks in waiting list will get a chance to attend the meetup.
