What we’re about
This social club is for those who enjoy letter writing, sending happy mail, creating mail art, and encouraging others through the written word. We will meet in person once a month to be creative and work on letter-writing projects together. We can write letters to pen pals, friends, relatives, or even strangers.
Letter writing is a wonderful hobby to share with the whole family, but our events are intended for adult participation. Child care is not provided so please make any necessary arrangements. You can message me directly to discuss this or if you have any questions.
People new to letter writing are welcome, but we do not provide pen pals. However, I can offer some options for how to find a pen pal.
Paper, writing utensils, and postage stamps will not be provided. Bring your stickers, stamps, ephemera, and creativity to share. Events and activities may expand depending on group interest and availability.
Group Guidelines:
All adults are welcome.
Be respectful and courteous.
Be kind.
If you have RSVPed for an event but can’t attend, please be sure to change your status and notify the event host.
Repeat no-shows may be removed from the group.
The group's success depends on member participation. If you have not visited the site or participated within 6 months you may be removed from the group.
We will always look for free spaces to meet, but in some cases, room rental fees may apply so this could result in a small share-of-cost fee per event attendee. This will be stated upfront in the event details.
