Would you like to learn chess but you're a bit overwhelmed with how complex it is?

I also run the Meetup group Casual Chess Victoria, and I've taught dozens of beginners how to play.

I'll teach you chess one-on-one in a format that is engaging and fun! Over our session we will play a game where I will teach you opening principles, strategy, best move practices, and blunders to avoid.

Scheduling
Rather than have a predefined time slot, just email me and request to set up a session. That way we can decide on a time and location that works for both of us.

Fees
The fee is $25 for a 1-hour session, or $40 for 2 hours, to be paid in advance through e-transfer to casualchessvictoria@gmail.com. (Advance payment is required to discourage no-shows, which are rather inconvenient for me.)
