10+3 Social Chess Tournament at the Bode Museum Cafe

💖 Friendly Atmosphere
This is a social tournament designed to be friendly and enjoyable. Please be kind and courteous to all participants, and avoid being excessively competitive.

💞 As this is my first time organizing a tournament, I appreciate your patience if any mistakes occur or if things run slowly.

💲 Registration fee
It's free to join the tournament, but you have to buy drink or food to use the venue.

🔑The Game Format
Swiss system, 10+3, 5 rounds
(We will use chessmanager.com for pairing system)

📢 Chess Board
Please bring a chess board if you have one. If there are not enough boards, participants with their own boards will have priority.

🎡 Chess Clock
Please install a chess clock on your phone.

🕥 Registration Time
10:10am-10:30am
(The tournament will start sharply at 10:30am. So please try to arrive as early as possible.)

📌 Location
The Bode Museum Café is on the first floor.
Walk up the stairs.
No ticket needed; just tell the staff you’re going to the café.

❓ Rules

• Touch-move: If you touch a piece, you must move it.
• Illegal move: If your opponent makes an illegal move, stop the clock and ask them to make a legal move.
• Clock rule: Press the chess clock with the same hand you move the piece.
• Other rules: Basic FIDE rules apply.
