10+3 Social Chess Tournament at the Bode Museum Cafe

💖 Friendly Atmosphere
This is a social tournament designed to be friendly and enjoyable. Please be kind to all participants and avoid being excessively competitive.

💞 As this is my first time organizing a tournament, I appreciate your patience if any mistakes occur or if things run slowly.

📌 Location
The Bode Museum Café is on the first floor.
Walk up the stairs.
No ticket needed; just tell the staff you’re going to the café.

💲 Registration fee
It's free to join the tournament, but you have to buy drink or food to use the venue.

🔑The Game Format
Swiss system, 10+3, 5 rounds

👨‍👧‍👧Player Divisions
Players are divided into two groups.
- A Group over 1300
- C Group under 1300
- If you wish to play in a different group from your rating, please let the host know during registration.

📢 Chess Board
Please bring a chess board if you have one. If there are not enough boards, participants with their own boards will have priority.

Please install a chess clock on your phone.

🕥 Registration Time
10:00am-10:30am
(The tournament will start sharply at 10:30am. So please try to arrive as early as possible.)

❓ Rules
- Touch-move: If you touch a piece, you must move it.
- Illegal move: If your opponent makes an illegal move, stop the clock and ask them to make a legal move.
- Clock rule: Press the chess clock with the same hand you move the piece.
-Other rules: Basic FIDE rules apply.
