Farmington Open Chess Tournament

All ages and skill levels are invited! This one-day event on National Chess Day celebrates Farmington Chess Club’s one-year anniversary.
Join us even if you’ve never played in a tournament before!

• Venue: Farmington Community Center, 127 Middle Street, Farmington, Maine
• Format: 4 Rounds, Swiss Pairing, G/30+5 (30 minutes per player, with 5 seconds
• added for each move), both regular and quick rated.
• Entry Fee: $25 through OCT 12. $30 at door.
• Advanced Registration Encouraged at www.farmingtonchess.org
• On-Site Registration and Check-In: 8:30-9:30.
• Rounds: Scheduled at 10:00, 12:00, 1:30, 3:00.
• Prizes: $100 1st, $60 2nd, $30 3rd (per section, based on entries). Trophies
• to top 3 players.
• Additional Prizes: Biggest upset. Top scholastic (K-12). Top senior (50+). Top female. Top streamer.
