Busy art weekend in West Chester!

This is not an evert, per se, but I'm using this post as a way to let you know about two fun -- and free -- happenings in WC this weekend:

1. Porchfest, Sat. 5/17. Musical groups of all types -- from rock n roll to classical -- will be performing on porches in the southwest quadrant of WC Borough on Saturday, weather permitting. Bring a chair! See the event web page for details (times, performances, locations, food trucks, etc.) and also any weather-related updates.

2. Chester County Studio Tours (Sat. and also Sunday 5/18). Artists across Chester County open their studios for tours and shopping. Many studios have a handful artists in the same spot. Several locations are within the Borough, including the same neighborhood as Porchfest. A wide variety of mediums are represented. You can see the whole list of studios, times, etc. at the web page.
