Chiacchieroni: Italian Conversation Dinner

Welcome to Chiacchieroni, a meetup group for anyone who wants to converse in Italian in a casual, no pressure setting. Whether you're an expat Italian or learning Italian and want to practice speaking, we invite you to join us.

We have a limited number of spots, so please come prepared to chat in Italian! We recommend having enough of a foundation in the Italian language that you can sustain a basic conversation in a natural setting with background noise. 😀

We will be hosted by Carbon Angela's Kitchen in South Park who has been very generous in allowing us to use their space for our event. We expect that all attendees will support the restaurant with a food and drink order. This restaurant is not a traditional Italian restaurant, but trust that you will often (if not always) find Italians eating here. The owner is Italian (Sicilian) and many of the menu items are her own family recipes or have a Sicilian or mediterranean influence. Additionally we meet on Wednesdays which is $10 off any bottle of wine .... and there are some great selections!

We may be hosted on the outdoor patio on some occasions, please dress accordingly (there are heaters).

As Carbon is a small space, we will limit the group to 12 people, so please rsvp to reserve your spot. If your plans change, you must CHANGE YOUR RSVP to not attending so that someone else can take your spot and so that we can let the restaurant know how many people to expect.

PARKING: There is street parking available nearby in the residential streets of the neighborhood and in the parking lot at 3030 Grape Street (Target).
