What we’re about
The first monthly tournament at Emporium Fulton Market is scheduled for
8 pm on Sunday, April 8. No entry fee, and prize awarded to the winner!
This will be a handicapped event where players will be given a point
spot depending on their rating and skill level. For example, a beginner
playing against a Pro-level player will get a 5-point spot (out of 7)!
This evens the odds and makes things quite competitive. And we do expect
a few of the top Chicago-area players to compete, including those who
are among the best players in the country!
No advance sign-up is needed, just show up at Emporium before 8 pm to
enter. And don't forget that handicap tournaments are held every
Wednesday at 8 pm at Emporium Logan Square.
